چکیده

ABSTRACT In this work, the temporal and spectral properties of poorly studied X-ray pulsar Swift J1808.4−1754 were investigated in 0.8–79 keV energy range based on data from NuSTAR observatories collected during 2014 outburst. Strong pulsations with a period 909.73 ± 0.03 s detected source light curve, pulsed fraction demonstrating non-monotonic dependence local minimum around 17–22 keV. Phase lags one pulse profile components, reaching maximal value approximately at same energy, discovered. The phase-averaged spectrum has power-law shape an exponential cutoff high energies, which is typical pulsars. Pulse phase-resolved spectroscopy revealed presence pulse-phase-transient cyclotron absorption line ∼21 keV, allowing us to estimate neutron star magnetic field 2.4 × 1012 G. This makes member very small family pulsars narrow phase range. Nordic Optical Telescope allowed study infrared companion system conclude that most probably it Be-type located distance 5–8 kpc.

Nustar Discovery of a Cyclotron Line in the Accreting X-ray Pulsar

The high-mass X-ray binary and accreting X-ray pulsar IGR J16393−4643 was observed by NuSTAR in the 3–79 keV energy band for a net exposure time of 50 ks. We present the results of this observation which enabled the discovery of a cyclotron resonant scattering feature with a centroid energy of 29.3+1.1 −1.3 keV. This allowed us to measure the magnetic field strength of the neutron star for the ...

The identification of the optical/IR counterpart of the 29.5-s transient X-ray pulsar

We report on the identification of the optical/IR counterpart of the 29.5-s transient X–ray pulsar GS 1843+009. We re–analysed an archival ROSAT HRI observation of GS 1843+009 obtaining a new refined position. The optical and IR follow–up observations carried out for the new error circle allowed us to find a relatively faint (V = 20.9) and variable early type reddened star (V − R = 2.1). The op...

Imaging X-ray, Optical, and Infrared Observations of the Transient Anomalous X-ray Pulsar Xte

We report X-ray imaging, timing, and spectral studies of XTE J1810−197, a 5.54 s pulsar discovered by Ibrahim et al. (2003) in recent RXTE observations. In a set of short exposures with the High Resolution Camera on-board the Chandra X-ray Observatory we detect a strongly modulated signal (55±4% pulsed fraction) with the expected period located at (J2000) 180951.08, −194351. 7, with a uncertain...
